Support VPR

Vermont Public Radio is an independent non-commercial station that depends on thousands of individuals and businesses for support. Only 10% of VPR's funding comes from the government. As a charitable non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, contributions to VPR are fully tax deductible according to US law. There are many ways to show your support for VPR:

VPR and American Forest's Global ReLeaf Campaign

Part of VPR's dedication to Vermont is also a promise to be good stewards of the environment, so that the Vermont we cherish will be here for future generations to enjoy. That's why we're working to make VPR greener. Efficiency Vermont is helping us to reduce our energy consumption at VPR headquarters, and we're taking steps to buy our power from renewable energy sources. Our fundraising letters continue to be made of 100% recycled post consumer waste and in our most recent mailing we pledged to plant a tree for every response to that letter. VPR has partnered with American Forest's Global ReLeaf project. You can learn more by visiting the American Forests website »
