The World (VPR)

The World's coverage is provided by a global network of international journalists, in addition to access to the 250 BBC correspondents located around the world. This network of international journalists works in concert with the program's multinational team of producers and editors, bringing an exceptional depth of understanding and freshness of perspective found nowhere else in U.S. news coverage.
In addition to its ongoing coverage of breaking news and top world stories, The World has two regular feature segments: "World Music," showcasing world artists and their work, and the popular "GeoQuiz," in which you can test your knowledge of locales far and wide.
The World is a co-production of the BBC World Service, Public Radio International and WGBH Radio Boston.
