The VPR iPhone App makes it easier than ever to listen to the live streams of VPR, VPR Classical, and the Vermont Statehouse, as well as the most recent VPR Newscast and Eye On The Sky Forecast.

In addition to the live broadcast streams, the VPR iPhone App gives you quick access to on-demand audio of the latest VPR News reports, Vermont Edition programs, VPR Commentaries, and VPR Presents. And with just a couple taps on the screen, you'll get the latest from the VPR Blog, @vprnet on Twitter, Station Frequency Listings, and even the most up-to-date School Closings!

We're particularly excited about the ways the VPR iPhone App will allow listeners to share their own stories with VPR and fellow listeners. Using the "Tell Us" feature, listeners can share their stories and news with VPR: write text, capture images, and even record audio, all from within the App! Use this to share breaking news, respond to specific VPR project assignments, or just share some of the beautiful sights and sounds from our region.

The App is supported on devices capable of running iOS 4.0 and higher. You can see a list of iOS devices here. (Listeners with devices running versions before iOS can still listen to VPR and VPR Classical with the Public Radio Player App).
