Geologist, Tom Neumann's Antarctic photos

Tom Neumann, a University of Vermont geologist, is an expert on ice flow and polar snow chemistry. He and a group of scientists are traveling over the ice in special Norwegian tractors. Their objective is to answer the question: how will the Antarctic ice sheet respond to future warming?

Here are some photographs from Tom Neumann's research expedition in Antarctica.
