Vermont Public Radio: bike ferry
A Vermont nonprofit group is seeking funding to expand a Lake Champlain bicycle ferry across a gap in a causeway between Colchester and South Hero.
On August weekends a team of volunteers from the Burlington non-profit group, Local Motion, operates a 3-minute "bike ferry" across the Colchester-South Hero causeway.
