October 2009 Business Partners
VPR's Membership Drive would not be possible, fun, nor delicious without the
enthusiastic and generous support of our community partners. We hope
you'll join us in thanking all our business partners during the October 2009 Membership Drive, including:
Priority Express delivers food to VPR volunteers while they man the phones.
Lake Champlain Chocolates supplies chocolates for our volunteers.
Sneakers Bistro and Cafe is feeding our volunteers breakfast.
The Skinny Pancake is feeding our volunteers breakfast.
Sugarsnap in Burlington is feeding our volunteers lunch.
Mimmo's Pizzeria in St. Albans and Essex Junction is feeding our volunteers dinner each night.
During membership drives it's perfectly acceptable to eat ice cream for breakfast. Strafford Organic Creamery provides VPR with milk, cream, and ice cream to feed volunteers and staff.
Vermont Brownie Company sends us plenty of brownies to eat for desserts, snacks, (and occasionally breakfast).
Vermont Artisan Coffee and Tea Company keeps VPR volunteers and staff caffeinated and alert, so we're ready to take your pledge!
Cabot Creamery Cooperative supplied gift certificates to thank our volunteers.
Sovernet provides our 800 number service.
VolunteerSpot.com is a great, free volunteer coordination site that helped VPR schedule volunteers for the drive.
Our artist mug was designed by Jane Shoup of Middlesex.
Solmate Socks were donated by The Sock Lady.
Bunker Hill Publishing supplied the Favor Johnson books we're using as a thank you gift.
Newsweek Magazine donated subscriptions as an additional thank you gift.
Out for Good comes in and volunteers several times throughout the drive.
Additional thanks to all the companies that donated drawing prizes for this drive. Learn more about them here.
