About Classical With Elena See
Elena See began her radio career in Minnesota in 2001, working as part of the production team for Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion. She edited and contributed to the comedic scripts on the show, worked on the website and, for a short while, filled the role of Technical Director for The Writer's Almanac. After several years in Minnesota Elena began performing clarinet in local orchestras and teaching college-level composition in central Maine, where she eventually became the classical music director at Maine Public Broadcasting. From there Elena moved on to Washington, DC to work in satellite radio. Elena returned to Minnesota in the autumn of 2010 to take on a hosting role at Classical 24.
When she's not on the radio, Elena spends her time with her family (which includes several enormous dogs), searching out new music venues with friends, reading, and learning to play the guitar.
