You can still harvest wild edibles from the forests and fields of Vermont at this time of year.

But where do you put those tubers once you've harvested them? Not to mention the potatoes, carrots, garlic, and apples you harvested from the garden this fall?

Jennifer Megyesi is the author of The Joy of Keeping a Root Cellar. She spoke with Vermont Edition about  how to store vegetables in a root cellar for the winter.
