Vermont dodged the ravages of Hurricane Sandy two weeks ago... But up and down the Eastern Seaboard many people are still suffering – and still worried about heat and survival.  As VPR’s Kirk Carapezza reports, Vermonters affected by Tropical Storm Irene are organizing to help survivors of Sandy.Green Mountain College in Poultney has euthanized one of its farm oxen. The animals were at the center of an uproar over the college's decision to process the animals into meat.
