Physicians from around Vermont will gather at a conference this weekend to discuss how they can help reform the state's health care system.The conference will be held Saturday at UVM.

Participants will look at what role physicians should play as the state works to reduce costs and streamline health care payment systems.

They'll discuss a new effort to focus on the usefulness of certain tests and procedures in various medical specialties.

There will also be discussions of health care payment systems and other topics being tackled by the Green Mountain Care Board.
