An investigation into false timesheets allegedly filed by a former Vermont State Police Sergeant has the state police charging other paperwork was also faked.

Investigators have concluded Sergeant Jim Deeghan fabricated nearly one-thousand traffic tickets over a dozen years.

The Burlington Free Press reports the fake tickets were revealed in papers filed yesterday in Burlington's criminal court.
