Bank Robbery In Hardwick
Police are looking for a man who said he had a gun and robbed a bank in Hardwick.
Authorities say the robbery occurred Thursday afternoon at the Union Bank. Police have been using search dogs to try to track the robber, who fled on foot.
Hardwick schools were temporarily locked down when the search first began.
Police say the robber approached a teller and demanded money through a note indicating he had a gun. They say the teller gave him some cash.
No gun was shown and no one was injured.
The robber is described as a white man in his 20s, with brown hair. He was wearing a brown hoodie, large sunglasses and a blue Boston Red Sox baseball cap.
