State police say an 81-year-old driver was killed in a head-on crash in Weathersfield Monday night.

Police received a report that a Jeep Cherokee was being operated erratically on Route 5. Before troopers could locate the vehicle, it was involved in a three-car crash on Route 131.

The driver died in the crash. His name has not been released.
