Erica Hurwitz Andrus and Eric Andrus, along with their son.
For years, the music played in Vermont's kitchens and community dances has revolved around the fiddle.
This week on our series The Fiddling Tradition, VPR and the Vermont Folklife Center are exploring how this music has been passed down over the years.
As we learn today, it's often a family tradition, with fiddler Erica Hurwitz Andrus with Erik Andrus on accordion.
Our series, The Fiddling Tradition, airs this week during Morning Edition on VPR.
