Burlington Hits Record High

Scorching temperatures are expected to continue today.

Temperatures soared to a record high of 95 degrees in Burlington yesterday. The previous record was 94 degrees set in 1988.

Concord, New Hampshire hit 96 degrees yesterday, but it wasn't a record.

Portland, Maine, reached 93 degrees, tying the record high set in 1964 while Montpelier also tied the previous record of 89 set in 1953.
