The new president of the University of Vermont says he'll work closely
with the state's political and business leadership to promote economic
development. Voters in the town of Concord will decide on Town Meeting Day whether or not to close their small high school. Burlington's Progressive Party says they won't endorse a candidate in the upcoming mayoral race.
