The new chair of the Vermont Republican State Committee is warning against what he says is the reckless agenda of Democratic Governor Peter Shumlin. Castleton residents will weigh in on Town Meeting Day on a controversial new multi-use town hall. Proponents say a new home for municipal offices, fire and police is desperately needed. But the two million dollar price tag and location is stirring up debate. Vermont Law School says the adoption of "smart grid technology" by the state's largest electric utility is going well.
