Vermont State Police say a tractor trailer with a high load struck the bottom of an overpass, causing damage to a support beam.
Police said the tractor trailer kept going after the accident late Sunday along U.S. Route 5 near exit 23 in Lyndonville.
Police eventually caught up with the driver, 27-year-old Juan Gallego in Littleton, N.H.
Gallego was found to not have a valid license.
Police are still investigating. The overpass was determined to be safe.
