The pilot of a single-engine plane has died in a crash near the airport in Lebanon, NH.
The plane went down at about 2:00 p.m. Thursday.
An NTSB spokesman says that shortly after departing, the pilot requested a return to the airport. In the process of maneuvering for a landing, the plane crashed.
The pilot was the only person on board.
