Monday, 02/06/12 12:04pm
(Host) Congressman Peter Welch says tax relief may be available to Vermont individuals and businesses affected by Tropical Storm Irene.
Welch made the announcement this morning at a damaged home in Waterbury.
Welch says individuals and businesses may be eligible to deduct storm-related losses from their income tax returns, as well as extended filing deadlines. And people who lost documents may be able to receive free replacements.
