House Approves Special License Plate For Disaster Relief
Friday, 02/03/12 12:04pm
(Host) The Vermont House Friday morning approved issuing a special license plate to raise money for people affected by Tropical Storm Irene.
The "I am Vermont Strong" plates were proposed by Governor Peter Shumlin in his State of the State address.
The House bill is slightly different from a version approved by the Senate. So it was sent back to senators, who will have to approve it again before the legislation is sent to the governor for signature.
