Irene Recovery Tour Rolls Into Rochester
Monday, 01/30/12 12:04pm
The state this week is continuing Tropical Storm Irene flood updates and community recovery tours.
Emergency management and community development officials on Monday will visit Rochester, one of the communities that was completely isolated from the rest of the state in the days after Irene.
State officials have recently co-hosted these meetings to hear from residents and local officials about what worked, what did not and what should be considered for future emergency management and land use. This afternoon, they'll hear from affected residents at the Rochester School.
The state is maintaining an archive of meeting summaries, and you can find them here.
