The site of the Graham-Frock family's house once stood has been filled with rip-rap by the town of Rochester.

Following Tropical Storm Irene, we've been checking in occasionally with the Graham-Frock family of Rochester, who lost their home to the storm.

The family now lives in the home once owned by Jon Graham's mother, who passed away in late 2010. Since Irene hit, Jon Graham, Beth Frock, and their two daughters, 12-year old Chloe and 16-year old Rhianna, have gradually been rebuilding their lives.

This week, VPR's Mitch Wertlieb visited the family again, and spoke with 16-year-old high school senior Rhianna Graham-Frock about what life has been like for her since Irene took the family's home.
