In the coming year, the five-person Green Mountain Care Board will lead the state of Vermont on the path to a single payer health care system they hope to have in place by 2017.

Yesterday we heard from Dr. Daniel McCauliffe, who practices in Rutland and has a skeptical view of a state-government-run health care program in Vermont.

Today VPR's Mitch Wertlieb gets a different perspective from Dr. Peggy Carey of South Hero, who's very much in support of what the Green Mountain Care Board is trying to do.
