Senate President Calls For Irene Property Study

The leader of the Vermont Senate says he wants to set up a special task force to study unique legal issues raised by the destruction of real property during Tropical Storm Irene.
Senate President Pro Tem John Campbell plans to announce the establishment of the task force today.
Flooding triggered by Tropical Storm Irene destroyed hundreds of homes and changed the size, shape and conditions of numerous property parcels, especially in southern and central Vermont.
