FEMA Deadline Nears
Friday, 10/14/11 3:35pm

The deadline for cities and towns as well as non-profit organizations who may be eligible for FEMA assistance is Monday.
State Auditor Tom Salmon is reminding municipalities that their forms requesting assistance must be submitted by the close of business October 17th.
Salmon says communities can file claims for things like overtime pay associated with storm cleanup, public infrastructure damage and equipment rentals - basically any costs above and beyond normal operating expenses.
