Nikki Matheson’s new album, Invisible Angel, is being called an "exquisite experience." The thirteen tracks on this album feature a variety of folk tunes, from traditional songs, to songs in French, to originals, to Grateful Dead covers.
Matheson lives in Moretown and teaches French at Norwich University and at Moretown Elementary School. She spent almost 14 years in France where she played all kinds of music (including Grateful Dead songs with a tribute band). She spoke with VPR's Peter Biello about songwriting and her new album.
