Maine Road Crews Head To Vermont

Crews from the Maine Department of Transportation are heading to Vermont to assist in post-Irene road construction.
Nearly 150 Maine DOT employees are expected to arrive in Dummerston today with 145 pieces of heavy equipment including excavators, loads, grader and dump trucks. They'll be helping to repair roads and bridges throughout the state.
The crews are expected to be in Vermont for two weeks, and they will be paid with federal emergency relief funds.
