Part of a ski lodge has collapsed at Killington resort and about 400 people are stranded at hotels and condominiums at the ski area because of road damage from Tropical Storm Irene.
The marketing manager for Killington Chris Danforth, says part of the K-1 lodge was eroded by the flooding of the Roaring Brook. He says about half of the Superstar Pub collapsed.
Danforth also said about 100 Killington resort staff and 300 guests are stranded at hotels or condominiums, which are cut off by road damage.
Some of the guests were originally staying at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel, but were transferred to another inn after it lost power.
