The state's Emergency Board this week approved a special loan program for businesses that have sustained damage during recent floods. Under the program, businesses and non-profits can apply for a maximum loan of $25,000 with no payments or interest for the first year. As much as $4 million will be available through the Vermont Economic Development Authority for the program.
