Local singer/songwriter Joshua Panda grew up in Huntersville, North Carolina. He moved to Vermont temporarily in 2008 - or so he thought. He never left. His music is a combination of gospel, country and soul, and he's worked hard to develop a following in the Burlington area, starting out with residency at Nectar's, and lot of busking on Church Street. That dedication has paid off. At 25, Joshua Panda is working on his third album and planning a European tour for the fall. Today he and several members of his band performed live in VPR's performance studio.
