The state Health Department says another well has tested positive for tritium at Vermont Yankee.
This latest well is located near two others that have shown tritium contamination in recent weeks. The three wells are about 150 feet north of the contamination plume officials identified last year.
The Health Department says tritium levels in the new well are quite low - just above the limit of detection.
Officials said they did not yet know whether the discovery means there is a new leak at the plant. Yankee is looking for the source of the contamination.
