The State Auditor's office recently released findings from its Sex Offenders Supervision report. The audit had two objectives: to make sure probation officers' case loads were within the statutory limit and these officers were trained properly in sex offender management.

State Auditor Tom Salmon said the audit found that 28 of 29 of the POs were in compliance regarding case load and two-thirds had received the proper level of training.
