Yesterday the United Nations held it's first ever summit on the human right to water. At issue was a resolution to support the right for all humans to safe, clean water and sanitation. Maude Barlow was there as the UN's Special Advisor on Water, and today she'll be speaking in Burlington at an event for the Vermont Natural Resources Council.
Barlow says the vote was historic and will have far-reaching effects.
