
Earlier this month, though, Dartmouth Haiti Response coordinators announced that they were suspending a planned trip to Haiti by a dozen doctors, therapists and nurses.
Officials said they were concerned about civil instability in Haiti and uncertain about their mission.
Dr. John Butterly is Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center's Executive Medical Director. He spoke with VPR's Jane Lindholm about the decision.
