In the immediate aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti, humanitarian aid and people, including many Vermonters, flooded into the country to provide help. VPR's Jane Lindholm talks with Mari Cordes (Fletcher Allen RN and the coordinator of the Vermont Medical Response Team) Kathleen M. Balutansky (Associate Dean and Professor of Caribbean literature at St. Michael's College), Carolyn Meub (Executive Director of Pure Water for the World, inc) and others about the mid to long term effects of the earthquake and what role Vermonters and outside organizations are playing in the ongoing recovery process.
