Lynch Pleased With NRC Reponse To Vermont Yankee

New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch says he's pleased the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is taking a more active role in overseeing the tritium leak at the Vermont Yankee power plant.
Lynch says the fact that there was a leak back in 2005 that went unreported illustrates that there continues to be an issue of trust with Vermont Yankee.
He says families across New Hampshire and Vermont have lost trust in the management of the plant.
On Wednesday, the Vermont Senate voted to block the plant from operating after its license expires in 2012.
