Vermonters most at risk for complications from the swine flu are urged to get vaccinated.
State epidemiologist Patsy Kelso says New England is seeing higher rates of illness than the rest of the country.
Two vaccine clinics will be held today in Newport City and by appointment in St. Albans.
The clinics are open to pregnant women, health care workers, people 24 years old or less, anyone who lives with - or cares for - infants younger than 6 months and anyone 25 to 64 who has a condition that puts them at risk for flu complications.
The state plans to make the vaccine available to everyone early next year.
