UVM Theatre puts on its final performances this weekend of "You Can't Take it With You" by George Kaufman and Moss Hart. It's a comedy about a pair of young lovers -- Alice Sycamore and Anthony Kirby-- with eccentric families living during the Great Depression. The play was written in the 1930's but its themes are just a relevant in today's economic downturn. Sarah Carleton directed the play. Carleton says tough times can be good for theater.
Carleton speaks with VPR's Peter Biello.
