Vermont health officials say swine flu continues to spread throughout the state, though they don't have firm numbers.
State Health Commissioner Dr. Wendy Davis says many of those developing H1N1 flu symptoms are recovering at home and don't need to get tested, so there's no way to confirm they have the illness.
Meanwhile, health officials are encouraging anyone who is in a high-risk group to get vaccinated. Those include pregnant women, health care workers, those who live with or care for children under 6 months old, people between 6 months and 24 years old, and adults up to 64 with chronic health problems.
Davis says anyone eligible to get the nasal vaccine should do so to save the injected vaccine for those who need it.
