About 100 people were left unvaccinated after they lined up for Vermont's first public swine flu vaccination clinic.
Officials say people from as far away as Massachusetts and Montreal had asked about being vaccinated at the Tuesday clinic, held at the Middlebury American Legion.
The vaccinations ended after public health officials ran through 300 doses of vaccine.
The Rutland Herald says a family of four from Berlin with an 18-month-old son with recurring pneumonia was turned away as was a 13-year-old boy from Jericho with muscular dystrophy.
Vermont and local health officials promise more vaccine is on the way.
