A Morrisville, Vermont brewer is breathing a sigh of relief today. Rock Art Brewery, which makes the popular ‘Vermonster' beer, has apparently won its battle with Hansen Natural Corporation, maker of Monster Energy Drinks.
Hansen had threatened to sue Rock Art for copyright infringement.
Rock Art president Matt Nadeau is cautious about spelling out the agreement before getting instructions from his attorney.
But he will say that Hansen has agreed to withdraw its cease and desist letter, provided that Rock Art doesn't try to break in to the ‘energy drink' market.
