VT Edition: Interview author Tanya Lee Stone

Tanya Lee Stone has written more than a dozen non-fiction books for young readers, on subjects as varied as animal camouflage, The Great Depression, Ella Fitzgerald, and Amelia Earhart. Her latest book is called "Almost Astronauts: 13 Women Who Dared to Dream. It tells the story of some very brave women in the 1960s who fought to become astronauts when only men were allowed into NASA's program. She spoke with VPR's Jane Lindholm about her book.
