Helping teens build healthy dating relationships and teaching a message of respect is the cornerstone of the work done by our Oliver Barkley, the men's educator at the Women's Rape Crisis Center. Barkley uses humor to make a serious point to teens about self-respect, personal safety, and building healthy relationships. He brings his education message to the Flynnspace in Burlington this weekend with a program entitled, "Take Me Drunk, I'm Home...What Every Teenager Needs to Know About Safe Dating."
He spoke with VPR's Jane Lindholm about his message for teens.
