
If only Samuel de Champlain could see the events and celebrations taking place in honor of his arrival 400 years ago. The Quadricentennial is a time for celebration, commemoration, but this year-also, reflection.
That's something that wasn't really on the agenda 100 years ago when events for the Champlain Tercentenary were held.
But filmmaker Jay Craven, producer of the Burlington International Waterfront Festival, which begins today-says this time around, everyone connected in any way to Champlain will be part of the festivities.
