Vermont utility regulators gave approval this morning for expansion of a major electricity transmission line through southern Vermont; environmentalists say a new book that warns tourists to stay away from Lake Champlain serves as a wake-up call that the lake is heavily damaged by pollution; business at Burlington International Airport continues to grow, and it's creating a need for new parking; the Douglas administration wants to save $5 million by reducing a fee paid to Vermont pharmacists for every Medicaid prescription they fill.
