Vermont will spend 2009 commemorating the 400th anniversary of Samuel de Champlain's arrival at the lake that bears his name. Bruce Hyde heads the Quadricentennial Commission. He gives VPR's Jane Lindholm a preview of the year-long celebration, which begins Wednesday during Burlington's First Night festivities.
