Interview: Election anaylsis from political scientist Eric Davis

As we've been hearing this morning, Vermonters got out the vote in a big way for the country's new president-elect.

And at home, they returned Governor Jim Douglas to office, providing more than 50 percent support in order to keep the election from going to the legislature for a final decision.

We're getting analysis this morning from Professor Emeritus of Political Science Eric Davis of Middlebury College. Davis says there's a reason Vermont gave Barack Obama received his victory outside of the District Columbia and Obama's home state of Hawaii.
