Audio Postcard: Westminster

Wednesday October 29, 2008
Susan Keese

Westminster, VT

Every part of Vermont has its special places. In the Southern Vermont town of Westminster, it's the Pinnacle, a rocky ridgetop overlooking the West River and Grassy Brook valleys from a height of almost 1700 feet.

Today in our series of post cards from Vermont towns we tag along with a group of local residents on a Sunday hike to the pinnacle led by ecologist Tom Wessels. Wessels lives in Westminster and teaches at Antioch New England University in Keene, New Hampshire.
