Interview: Independent gubernatorial candidate Sam Young
Tuesday, 10/14/08 7:49am and 7:49am
Vermont's three leading candidates for governor tend to make the most news, but there are four other candidates in the race. As part of our series on lesser-known candidates seeking statewide office, today we meet Sam Young of Glover.
Sam Young got into the governor's race because he wants to energize young
voters. The 30-year-old web designer is also a justice of the peace and a member of his town's select board, and he can boast to being a fifth generation Vermonter from a farm family.
Young says he was inspired to run while attending at a Google conference in California.
